We're looking for Block Champions!

Do you want to make your block better? We’re looking for a resident from each of our high-rise blocks to become block champions. Working with us to help make improvements in the building where you live!

What does a Block Champion do?

  • Keep an eye on shared areas like entrances, landings, lifts and bin stores.
  • Check that spaces are well looked after.
  • Spot and report issues such as graffiti, fly-tipping, broken lighting, or damaged fixtures.
  • Let us know if gardening or grounds maintenance isn't up to standard.

What will you receive as a Block Champion?

To recognise your support, Block Champions will receive incentives such as:

  • Small thank you rewards or vouchers.
  • Recognition in newsletters or events.
  • Invitations to training, workshops or community activities.
  • Certificates or appreciation events.
  • Opportunities to learn new skills.

Take part in a way that suits you, whether that’s a quick weekly walk-through or checking in now and then. You will probably spend 10 - 20 minutes each week checking your building and let us know of any issues. If you care about your block, you're already qualified. You don't need any special skills, just a willingness to care for your block and help your neighbours!
