We’re setting up a new Building Safety Committee, led by customers who live in our high-rise homes! This new committee will replace the informal Building Safety Residents Group. It will be more structured, with clear roles and responsibilities. It will have a clear purpose and the power to hold us to account.
What will the committee do?
Raise building safety concerns, such as fire safety, alarms, evacuation routes, and safety-related repairs.
Make sure we're doing what we say we will.
Check that we're following our Building Safety Resident Engagement plan.
What's involved in joining the committee?
You don’t need any technical knowledge. We’ll explain everything in plain language. You’ll help us spot issues early, improve safety, and make sure customers’ voices are heard. You’ll build confidence, learn new skills, and help lead positive change in your community.
We'll meet four times a year in the high-rise blocks.
Meetings will be clear, friendly and easy to follow.
You can join in-person and online.
As a thank you, you'll recieve a £20 voucher of your choice for each meeting you attend.
