We are looking to review a draft copy of our Allocations and Lettings Policy. This policy is in place to set out how we allocate (match a household with a home) and let (agree to tenancy terms) with a customer. This applies to our social rented housing, and affordable rented housing. This policy does not cover the letting of rent to buy properties or assignment of tenancies by mutual exchange or succession.
This draft policy has made the following changes to its previous iteration -
How often we review LLP's (Limited Liability Partnerships) to ensure they are still fair and appropriate.
Clarity has also been added to this draft policy on the following -
Direct lets and emmergency accomodation (changed title from 'Emergency Transfer' to 'Emergency Accomodation')
Suitability Checks
Specialist Accomodation
Roles and Responsibilities (updated to Head of Housing and EH&A Manager)
If you would like to provide feedback please complete the survey below! A copy of this draft policy is available to download on the right side of this page. However, if you require a copy emailed to you or sent by post please get in contact James on 07767037588 or james.frazer@incommunities.co.uk.
